Devon Tincknell

Devon Tincknell keeps himself busy as a freelance journalist, late-night talk show host, event organizer, and stand-up comic, although he aspires to add another handful of titles to that list by the end of the year. A graduate of the University of Texas’ Multimedia Journalism program, his written work has been published on The A.V. Club, Madeloud.com, UWeekly, Austinist, and more. As a speaker, he has performed at Bedpost Confessions and Nerd Nite and, until recently, hosted his very own late-night talk show, TNM Tonight, at the New Movement theater. He is the creator of the annual Worst Tattoo in Austin contest and the founder of the provocative blog, F*Bomb. In addition to being a writer, waiter, life & arts editor, film festival juror, sex columnist, comedian, medical research subject, barista, roadie, model, hitchhiker, porn store clerk, rainforest trail clearer, disaster relief volunteer, AmeriCorps member, rock journalist, film critic, and probably something else, Devon has traveled through 11 countries, 36 states, and speaks Spanish well enough to converse with cabbies and argue about Britpop. He recently relocated to New York to learn the craft of television writing from one of the guys that wrote Blazing Saddles.
