Pardee Time!: Alex Pardee paints Steve Urkel

San Francisco based artist, Alex Pardee, is keeping his game fresh with one of his latest works.  He’s also helping to extend the 15 minutes that JaleelSteve UrkelWhite negotiated with the devil.  If you are a fan of Pardee‘s work, or just like what you see here, you are in luck.  This time Alex has created a time-lapse video for us to see how his art is really created.

Alex recently wrote a review of the Friday The 13th remake that he allowed us to post here on Monster Fresh.  The article also provides a solid introduction about his background and work.  It’s awesome and, if you haven’t read it yet, you can link to it by clicking HERE.

The Steve Urkel painting was created for the upcoming TV themed, Idiot Box exhibit, commemorating the 5 year anniversary of Gallery 1988 in LA.  Yep, that’s DennisMr. BeldingHaskins on the flyer.  He will be hosting the opening reception, which takes place on Thursday, April 2nd from 7-11pm.
