That is the most detailed Electric Apricot run down I have ever seen and I produced the movie - so there ya go! Thanks a lot for paying attention to all that detail! And that is hilarious that you were interviewing the Shakedown douche bags, while were we driving around like stressed out lost hippies in Oregon. You are also very right that Electric Apricot is all about the word of mouth and sadly we won't have promotional dildos until we get an animation deal or possibly and Ice Cream Flavor! Our UK Premiere is coming up in on October 10th at London's Raindance Film Festival. More special screenings are popping up here and there at various festivals and brew pubs too! Were hoping Electric Apricot will continue to lurk around for awhile!

I think it's great that Electric Apricot is made in such a way that it pays homage to jam band and festival scenes.

However, I think it's sad that when you type in "Burning Man sucks" or, "Dancing Hippies", into You Tube, you don't find shit.

It isn't that I am vehemently seeking a wholly negative form of media. I just want some more satirically based humor to live vicariously through.

I had fun on Dead Tour years ago, but I can't tell you how many times I looked deeply into the eyes of a young bearded man and got the, "uncle bad touch", mixed with "Hey, I'm kind of like Jesus" vibe. Or, how about the "Love Circles", where sizable groups of Heads would randomly end up standing in a circle holding hands, Oming and rubbing their lice filled dreads against one another? What about the Punks that would make grilled Cheese Sandwiches and treat the hippies like shit until they could collect enough change and get their drink on? I miss those times and stories that need to be retold through film... Somehow.

Where can one find elements of that? We need a camera of our own!

Being a Les Claypool fan and having had submitted treatments for review, I can fully sympathize and appreciate what has gone on with this project. I was going to the beat clubs back in the early 80s and have loved the off-beat sounds for as long as I can remember. Nice to know that there are some non-conformists still making an impact.
